Sometimes when I document my journey in the word of God, I focus on the verbs. I look for the actions in the text, and I pray that I will take those actions. Here is my prayer from Psalm 13:5-6, and Mark 5.
Enable me, Lord, today to
trust
rejoice
sing
and tell my family what you have done for me
and how you have had mercy on me.
